Yes. PM the pages to me "clueless".

Wondering if judging shouldn't consist of three categories, each worth three points.

Something like...

Theme and story structure, e.g how well does the story match the assigned theme? Does it work?
Dialogue
Technical, i.e. formatting, etc.The entry with the highest aggregate score wins.

Example:

Story A
Theme/story = 2
Dialogue = 1
Technical = 3
Total = 6

Story B
Theme/Story = 3
Dialogue = 2
Technical = 2
Total = 7

Story B Wins. Of course this is only one set of votes. I'm assuming there'd be more than one voting, which means the story receiving the highest average aggregate vote would win.

Ties???? Well, its a tie then.

Such a scoring breakdown might help the writers and everyone else ID strengths and weaknesses of the entries; placing a bit more emphasis on "exercise," rather than competition.

Hi bio, thanks.

I'm going to stick with the usual voting thing for this contest mostly because I'm one godawful lazy contest/writing exercise host. :D

Just a few more days folks.

Understood. Notice how I didn't volunteer to help with the vote tally. :)

Decided to give this a go. Do I just copy and paste what I've written in the PM or do I need to attack a PDF file?

So, we meet again Bio...

Thanks Clue and for every who participated and for those who voted.

So we do, so we do. I was going to suggest a pistol duel in mud, but given our relationship... well, people may get the wrong idea. Congrats!

Thanks clueless. And to all my competitors (cue CRICKETS and TUMBLEWEEDS).... well done.

Thanks and Congrats to you too Bio. Mud won't work for me, I just washed these jeans.:D

But, well placed incendiary devices might work... wait, that's my next short... nevermind.:eek:

A duel is so 19th century. We need to be modern. Maybe some...

Nevermind, don't want to give up the tools of the trade.
