"Movie industry people also look at Web sites like Scriptsales.com to track movie deals. The Hollywood Reporter suspended its most popular columnist, George Christy, in 2001, after he was accused of accepting favors from movie producers and receiving pension and health benefits to which he was not entitled. (The pension matter was later settled, and The Reporter has said nothing more publicly about the accusation on favors.) The Los Angeles Times hasn't had a genuine gossip column since Haber left in the 70's."
