I was in touch with a contact(former employer) and asked if I could submit my script to their film production company in L.A. I was given the contact info and was told to go ahead and send it and they would contact the office to let them know I was doing this and expect it's arrival.

This was in mid December. What is the proper code of conduct here? Should I wait months? Should I attempt or not to contact them on the status of my script if I haven't heard back?

Any advice or suggestions would greatly be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

They'll call you if they want it... won't call you if they don't want it.

BF - I usually wait 6 weeks and then follow up on a script submission. Either call them or send them an email. The last submission I made to a manager got lost. When I followed up, she apologized and then asked me to resubmit. This same manager is now shopping my script to producers.
