This TV packaging agent from a major agency called out of the blue this week after seeing something I'd written. Said he wanted to make a 1/2 show around the idea and bring it to the cable channel where his agency already has a long and profitable packaging relationship. He claims he wants to package me (he mentioned as producer) with the agency's showrunners and comics. I'm a professional writer but not in showbiz; on the other hand, I'm not a newcomer to Hollywood deals. I've had my stuff optioned and I've been a consultant, all for movies. But this? Especially TV? I don't know much, including $$$ and/or titles. I don't want to overreach but I don't want to get left out, either. How quickly might something like this come together? All advice extremely welcome, especially before my meeting with the agent Tuesday. So I don't sound stupid!
