View Full Version : Script Registration

When all of the television writers register their spec scripts of existing shows with the WGA or LOC, how do they register them?
As far as the title is concerned. Do they register the script by the episode title or by both the show name and episode title?
Thanks for any insight.

Why would you want to register a spec script of an existing show?

I meant those who are trying to become tv writers.
For instance, the Disney Fellowship wants proof of registration.
Maybe I am wording this wrong.

you can register your script online at the wga website, just follow their instructions.

I have registered a teleplay in the past with the WGA. If I recall correctly, the registration asks for just a title. So let's say I wrote a Grey's Anatomy script with the title "Emergency". What I am wondering is, for all of you out there who pen teleplays, do you register your spec as "Emergency" or Grey's Anatomy "Emergency".

the second thing you said - in the title line write -
GREY'S ANATOMY "Emergency"
