Geez, no fun Christmas theme writing exercise this year? Last year we had two!

The Best Contest Ever - An Xmas Special (http://messageboard.donedealpro.com/boards/showthread.php?t=25526)

Christmas/Hanukkah Short Contest (http://messageboard.donedealpro.com/boards/showthread.php?t=24897)

Whatever happened to tradition? What happened to the spirit of giving?

Let's blame the forum moderator. I've been hassling him to post some rules for his "Touch of Noir" exercise. What are the themes available? He's too busy playing with his serial!

And, thusfar, I've been lucky, this year, not having heard "Jingle Bells" played ad nauseum on the radio and in stores. Humbug, you say! I agree, but with a Canadian winter in full force, I'm looking forward to better writing exercises and To Spring (http://www.resologist.net/To%20Spring.mid).

You can always make a contest here right now, due tomorrow at midnight or something. We did one last summer with only 11 hours notice. Yeah, mine really sucked, but it was still fun. :D

Sorry to hear about your Canadian winter... I'm sitting poolside while the Christmas ham is baking. It's 70+ outside and sunny. Maybe I'll fix myself a Margerita...

Sorry, couldn't resist. :p

Hope you all had a merry xmas anyway, even without writing a xmas story.;)

When I get home this evening the guideline thread for TOUCH OF NOIR will be posted. Working late though. Probably be up around 11pm or so.
