You gonna ride this wave, or what? How many of you are also working on TV stuff as opposed to the big screen?

Already riding this wave: Pitching three TV projects, one with a female protagonist, another an ensemble with a chick figuring prominently.
Working on a feature now.

You?

actually pitching? or do you mean querying?

anyway - good luck!

I'd say some of both.

Same to you, Nike!

i don't write for tv. i do have a pilot and proposal but only b/c i was asked to do it from a producer... but she couldn't sell it so, i shelved it.

any way - here's more good stuff: http://nymag.com/nymag/toc/20110523/

This is great, thanks. Very interesting stuff.

Any chance you can "refresh" your pilot and try again? Would love to hear about it, if you ever want to pm me.

I'm moving into features now. Halfway thru one. We'll see where it goes.
(Digging the fact I don't have to worry about the "bible" for this project.)

Have a slate of TV ideas we might develop when we have time but have been focused on features.

Turning in first draft of an assignment next week. Being put up for a couple others, and hoping to develop another project with a prodco on a property of theirs. Doing a polish on a big budget Greek epic actioner set in Hades spec and hoping to get it to market soon.

How's your feature coming? Any troubles with the transition, or did you start in feature writing?

Hey lips,

Sounds like you're doing great! Lots of luck with your projects!

The only real trouble I'm having with the feature is "feelin' it." It's a rom-com, which is a bit new for me, at least this type, and it's based on an idea from a producer friend of mine.

I think I may have finally gotten over the hump, though. After that, another feature. This one a thriller with a female protagonist - my own idea.
