Help.

Posted a screenplay to Triggerstreet. It was created in my Movie Magic software and came in at 94 pages. I posted it on TS in RTF format and didn't think anything of it.

Got a note back from a reviewer saying it came out to 111 pages.

What gives? Both were printed at 12-point courier. I have another script that comes in at 141 pages RTF and 119 Movie Magic. NO way am I gonna post a 141 page script on TS. They would send people to my house to kill me, I'm sure. Can I do anything?

I had the same thing happen. The margins might be different on the RTF. I think you can open it in Word and change them and still save it as an RTF

won't TS allow you to upload scripts in pdf?

Movie Magic, by default, uses perfect line spacing with Courier 12 point — i.e., six lines per inch.

When you export to RTF, that line spacing is lost, and the line spacing will depend on the program used to open the RTF file. Some programs put in a little more space between lines, by default, than the six lines per inch.
