Pitch to Hulu

Can anyone share a connection or pathway into Hulu for a comedy pitch?

Thank you!

interested in this as well. Not sure why Hulu and NetFlix don't do what Amazon does with the open door policy.

I got a sitcom pilot to Hulu once but it was through a producer. I think for now that's the only way. Netflix, though, is now on Virtual Pitch Fest, which is pretty cool :)

Thanks, Grumpy. Have you used VPF and how has it worked for you?

Re: Pitch to Hulu

I've used VPF quite a lot although I used to use it a lot more than I do now. Now I only use it to get to companies/industry folk that I don't already know/have a relationship with or can't access via my manager or IMDBPro, which is now - after many years of toil - only a small handful. If you're an IMDBPro subscriber, definitely check IMDBPro first, as many of the execs on VPF are listed there with their current emails. If you're repped, your rep will likely know someone at the company or have the contact's email via StudioSystem. If you're new/just starting out, I'd say VPF is a great way to make industry contacts or, if you're further along, to get to people that you don't have access to and who would otherwise ignore you.

Thank you again, Grumpy. That seems like like very sound advice.
