Re: Someone's making my idea!!!

Had a similiar thing happen to me.

The producer who is making this film actually rated and commented on my logline in some trivial online contest several years back. I then sent a query with...

Re: Crazy producer stories

I once had a producer ask me to remove a comedic scene with a polar bear attacking an animal rights activist on camera during an interview. He said people would link it to the Grizzly Man guy that...

Re: Dexxxxxter!!!

You're exactly right. It isn't Deb. Her not knowing how to help with a child, but wanting to is conflicting with her character. But conflict is what keeps me watching Dexter.

Re: Dexxxxxter!!!

I got the impression that Dex was trying to leave his dark passenger behind..or at least try to control it instead of letting it control him.

It seemed he spent most of this season trying to learn...

Re: Dexxxxxter!!!

As much as I root for Dexter, I think I'd have Trinity come out on top.
I know it sux, but as a writer, this is the choice I'd make.

I think Dexter must lose someone and he must take on the guilt...

Re: Dexxxxxter!!!

I'll take a stab at this.

Dexter suddenly remembers that his sister is living at his listed address and races over to his old apartment. While gone, Trinity takes Rita's son, kills the girl in...

Re: What movie do you *hate* that everyone else seems to love?

SuperBad
Superman Returns
Star Wars (any of them)
Fight Club
Sixth Sense
Citizen Kane

One of my favorite quotes came from The Cowboys...

"I broke my back once, my hip twice and on my worst day I could still beat the hell out of you."
