Re: The Hunt (Cancelled!)

Re: Linking up with producers early on

My dad wrote for a conservative Washington DC magazine that was sometimes called racist. (Nothing like what's going on these days.) John was another writer there, who happened to be black. At a...

Re: Now This is a Rejection Letter...

Well -- some nimrods tried to sue everyone even slightly connected to "Pirates of the Caribbean", because their pirate screenplay ALSO had a "skull and crossbones" flag.

Re: Final Draft 10

Windows version?

Years ago I bought DOS Scriptware and used it on a laptop, I knew had a fading hard drive. I was backing up my script on floppies but got lazy and went from around page forty to...

Re: Should we all be writing books instead?

I don't know how much longer the Disney machine can live on robbing their old material and doing comic book movies. I'm betting there is going to be diminishing returns on "Beauty and the Beast 5"...

Re: Loving your character too much

Best fiction writing I've ever done is when the characters take control. Often after pages of writing, their personalities finally kick in. Then you rewrite everything up to that point.

And I...
