Do not pay a manager or agent directly to read your script, I echo sentiments of all others here. That just seems off...What I will say is that I have worked on and off as a paid freelance script...

I would add 3 Arts, Management 360 and Rain Management Group. RMG doesn't produce much but they're expanding, and there clients are about 80% TV writer/ directors.

Never been, but I know people who have. It should be viewed IMHO, less as a networking event, than an educational one. Also it is really more aimed at people interested in producing (as I am) as well...

Never heard of the first guy. Seth is a good guy-- he used to work at Code Entertainment, and I have a friend who followed him to the new place. He's quite happy.

One word: Assistants. Most of the town runs because of them... Go through them. If they think it's good enough they will show it to a manager and that manager will read because it's been vouched for...
