Re: Emma Thompson accused of "stealing movie idea"

Remember that guy who said Scorsese stole his idea when he made Gangs of New York? Or the guy who tried to sue SpongeBob's creators for using a sponge as a cartoon because that was 'his idea'? ...

Re: Later or Continuous?

Yeah, I wondered that myself. I think the director probably added the taxi bit during the shoot because the script does not depict Mel's character as a conspiracy theorist quite as blatantly as that...

Re: Converting a Screenplay to a Comic Book

I hear you, man, I hear you.

In that last post, I was actually talking about novels as in books--like Moby Dick and Scarlett Letter. And yes, you are right, it is difficult to become rich because...

Re: Converting a Screenplay to a Comic Book

My mistake. Words words words. What I meant was that a person submits the comic to an agency, who in turn tries to market it to a publisher, who often has in-house comic book illustrators.

And @...

Re: How to Make it in Hollywood

I agree with your take. The main reason I feel it is accurate is that...

And @ CthulhuRises and...
