You already introduced the character with the caps, so it isn't necessary to cap the name (within the action line) again, ie:

The doorman opens his eyes, only to find that he's dreaming once...

You have to rememeber that it's not about being natural, for you, but for your characters. With that said, I don't see anything wrong with a character that uses: yeah, um, ahem, wow, holy moley,...
