I have taken her 6 week course a total of 7 times.

Anytime I am not working, I take her course if she's giving it at the time. It's especially helpful when in the middle of the writing process. ...

One was shot on 35mm and was 15 minutes long. It was a 5 day shoot and I paid most of the crew $50 - $100 a day. Plus the cost of film, developing, telecine, sound mix, etc.

Writing and directing short films is how you learn to be a filmmaker. Being a filmmaker means telling stories. You have to learn to tell stories.
