Re: Shout if you're interested

Orrrr take your time, give it a couple of passes before posting, who knows how it might bloom.

We're writers dammit we're supposed to use our imagination! Subvert the trope, turn it around,...

Re: Reformatting from left-justified

Remember to save all this, it's going to make a great documentary, maybe as a DVD extra.

When you make the movie, everyone you hire will be thinking, "170 pages? Is this for real? Are we being...

Re: Naming characters

I think that's the logic, right there. No naming needed if it's a clearly minor role, and if they're better identified by their profession anyway. Call someone DOCTOR in a hospital location and we...

Re: Reformatting from left-justified

Sometimes you see a "how many scenes should my screenplay have?" question thread, but there's no definitive answer to that one. No one uses word count as a measurement.* We're all aiming for...

Re: Should we all be writing books instead?

Well done hscope, and whoever else has been plugging away at novel writing. And to whoever's thinking about doing it... go for it!

I've been writing prose for years... never got any better at it...
