That's what I said, a writer's co-op, do what youtube and netflix is doing to the studios, get rid of the middle men - they're not doing their jobs properly.

So is it a good idea before one puts work into anything, even if its with your own manager to draft out a contract, about who owns what and who gets paid what?

From my understanding Prodcos would approach studios with a project (screenplay, director, actors) for funding.

So I'm wondering if querying Studios directly with just a screenplay is constructive...
