Re: Quantum Leap

It doesn't matter who owns the rights at this point -- they won't and they can't read it. Doing so would open them up to possible litigation down the road if they ever resurrect the property and you...

Re: OK to specify vehicle make and model?

"Don't want to close my eyes
I don't want to fall asleep
'Cause I'd miss you baby
And I don't want to miss a thing"

*sighs*

Re: Am I ready for representation?

Re: Script Gal

Joe --

I normally try to live by the adage if I don't have something nice to say, don't say it, which is why I didn't immediately respond to this thread and the comment regarding Scriptgal's...

Re: Which script reader is best for your buck?

There's going to be a few different opinions on this, but for me there's no one better than Andrew Hilton (Screenplay Mechanic).

Re: Meeting blown off..

Re: About 7 of my first pages take place in pitch black....

The easy simple answer is -- umm -- film is a visual medium and Joe gave you the reason it probably won't work. If a movies done right it "captures" us and evokes emotion. It does that by drawing us...

Re: NBA Players that ACT? Produce?

Jordan and Shaq have both taken acting roles. Lebron did a movie this summer. Kareem had some classic roles. Ray Allen in "He Got Game."

There's many others.

By the time all the back and forth is done (multiple times) a few weeks is nothing. These are complicated agreements entailing rights for film, characters, future projects, TV, etc. Every aspect has...
