  • Sharktopus? Is this a joke?

Watch this trailer, and tell me if you are sure this isn't just a bad joke.

Nope. Totally real. SyFy has been making intentionally craptastic schlock for a while. I think the last one I saw was called Dinocroc?

It's their Saturday night shtick. They make bad movies on purpose because they know there's an audience who likes to laugh at how ridiculous they are.

This looks hilarious. I also can't wait to see Debbie Gibson and Tiffany square off. Sorry to take it off topic, but other than Roger Corman, what other companies are producing these flicks for SYFY?

          WOW! That was bad!
The funniest part to me is that the "Sharktopus" wouldn't really be able to move. They eliminated the main locomotion of each animal....

            Eric Roberts? Frackin' A!
Cheetah Whores theme song? Rock on!
            Roger Corman? YESSSSSSS!
Man oh man I haven't watched a SyFy movie in a long while but this looks insanely great and exactly what the nation requires in her hour of need. God help us if it's a prank: if they don't make a a kick-ass movie out of "Shartopus" then the terrorists have won.

Ah, I was wrong. Last one I saw was "Supergator."

"Dinocroc" is older...and...pretty much the same movie, haha.

I've seen SUPERGATOR. This movie looks hilarious. You know you are gonna watch. Guilty pleasures.

But can it pick the winner of the World Cup?

Is it good enough at being bad for winning the Golden Turkey award?

                      It roars! I love it!

I don't usually bother with the SyFy originals but this looks like a blast.

Wonder if the script is available...

If you don't like it, stay out of the water.

To me, looks a lot more entertaining than pretty much everything crawling through the multiplex this summer.
