"I ask every producer I meet if they need TV specs they say yeah. They all want a 40 inch display that's 1080p and 120Hz. So, I quit my job at the West Hollywood Best Buy."

I thought that Cutthroat Island was pretty decent. Just didn't resonate for whatever reason.

Maybe the reason was that it was bad and it's just me though.

The fountain by Darren Arnofsky. A film far ahead of its time. Though perhaps not a MAJOR bomb.

+1 for Freddy Got Fingered. Call it dumb but that film has too many laugh out loud moments to be truly bad.

Heaven's Gate has come an awful long way and is now regarded by many as a misunderstood gem.

I liked how he stops at nothing to get his comic strip up and running, even if it meant he had to get a side job making cheese sandwiches.

All in all, I found a lot of heart in the story = never giving up despite all odds ---type of message.

**now i wanna watch it again Good thing I bought the dvd

                    OFFICE SPACE.

Theatrically it was completely ignored, and picked up a long shelf life on home video.

Along the same lines, The Princess Bride is oft quoted as also having failed at theatres and only found the love when released on video.

I don't think it was a huge bomb but Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. I love that movie!

Heck, if we're playing by those rules: I'll second or third Office Space, The Princess Bride and throw in Donnie Darko (released shortly after 9/11) and It's a Wonderful Life (didn't become a classic 'til the 70s.)
