    Anyone writing a mummy script?

I'm working on a comedy: Not Tonight, It's My Pyramid

My musical, My Pharoah Lady, didn't generate much interest.

i don't think the mummy genre will ever recover from the dancing yetis of that horrific sequel.

What pisses me off is that I was working a werewolf script the last few years, and up to that point it was like 90% vampire movies. Now everyone and their mom is making a werewolf script. As if it wasn't hard enough to sell one before. Now I stand a chance of being accused of "following a trend"

Wait a minute. Are these ancient old (pardon pun) mummy jokes? Hmmm.

          Oh the hell with it!

You mean mummy. Besides, there's always The Blob.

              Blob is getting remade, too.

Thing is to try and create a new monster... everyone's got a vampire, werewolf, alien or zombie lurking.

Easier said than done, of course.

Hybrid?! Vampire and Werewolf? What the hell are you trying to do? Scare me?

Well, I can see hybrid working more in genre rather than monster. Say, taking werewolves and approaching it like a zombie outbreak. Everyone's getting infected, and the ol' town goes furry at the next full moon.

                      It's a Werepire. OooOOOoooOOOoooh...

So it hates garlic, but only once a month, which means you can take it to an Italian restaurant before it drains you for fun.

I think that kind of creature already exists, though. They're called women.

I'm gonna get beaten up for that comment I made about women.

It was a joke, ladies. A joke.

                          I do love you.

                          (Even though it's true.)

                          KIDDING!

Well, at the very least my script is the first to feature a Were-Kangaroo.

                              Seriously. Don't laugh
