yes, they are all great opportunities.
did you read the terms of the process? the black list selects the candidates. it's not like everyone gets read. it's based on who they think fits. even though it says anyone who hosts for one week is eligible, the short list is created by The Black List and submitted.
i guessing that the writers who have paid reviews, reader endorsements, high ratings, have been selected for their feature script of the month, and have a strong indy sensibility will have the best chances of exposure. it does not indicate that everyone who opts in, will be read for consideration.
it costs nothing to opt in, so why not?
