Looking out at the weather today, it's on the turn, the Autumn is appraoching fast, that's fall, for many of you. A good time of the year to write.
Quick note on the actual deadline, it's midnight - your local time... so whereever in the world you reside, whether that be midnight Australia, New Zealand, USA, U.K. That's your marker.
... somebody is bound to ask!

submit as pdf by Midnight 31st Oct 2013 to Dpat,

Re: Halloween's "Back From The Dead" Writ Exer.
Make that 5 entries received to date -- but no worries, we've still got nearly 3 weeks to go till deadline (midnight your time on Oct 31st). Take your time, have fun.
THAT DEADLINE'S GONNA COME ROARING UP ON US LIKE A MAC TRUCK!!!
Re: Halloween's "Back From The Dead" Writ Exer.
I was wondering, as regards reading for voting - would it be possible to have all of the scripts available for DL as pdfs rather than in a thread here. I just find that so much easier to read than the scrolling inserted pages here...
maybe a shared folder through dropbox or something?
(Blood thirsty Mack trucks, reminds me too much of Maximum Overdrive)
Re: Halloween's "Back From The Dead" Writ Exer.
Maybe if this had been planned earlier... thing is, many PDFs come in with author names on the title pages, which get stripped out when I extract plain text for posting.
Asking entrants to just select "make PDF" is pretty easy, but asking everyone to pay attention and make sure they select or deselect various options before making the PDF, depending on what software they're using, adds complexity to the process, and complexity is a thing that's best avoided (I have found) 'cause it turns people off.
