Seeking Non-Union Writers Aspiring to Work on TV and Film Projects (Wilshire Media District)
Hollywood Weekly magazine (http://www.hollywoodweekly.net) is looking to showcase new writers who are available to work on union projects. Our program has the approval of the Writers' Guild of America. You make money by simply referring qualified writers to Hollywood Weekly. Starting with our August edition, Hollywood Weekly will showcase a new feature: Aspiring Writer's Classifieds. We anticipate this new section in HW will facilitate numerous opportunities for writers who otherwise may lack proper access to the entertainment industry. Our Aspiring Writer's Classifieds section will be highly promoted by our magazine and within the industry. HW is distributed to production companies on the lot at Hollywood's Sunset Gower Studios, Paramount Pictures and at Sony Pictures Entertainment in Culver City. We're inviting writers to showcase their writing proficiency by writing a brief 750 word narrative piece on any subject that captures the essence of your talent, and demonstrates your creative writing style. You may include your contact details, link to your website, etc.
You provide the talent; we'll provide the space, and the audience.
The fee to publish a 750 word article on any topic (subject to the publisher's review) in one monthly edition of HW magazine is $150. We will pay you a $50 referral fee for any writer that you recommend that actually participates in our service. Space is limited, and available on a first come basis.
Interested? Please contact us by email at [email protected]. Be sure to include your call back telephone number, and a writing sample.
