Why would you think that? I just assumed that Mason has taken to heart Mencken's line: "Nobody ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American people." And what better proof than the sales logs?

So you're saying the manager purposely dumbed down the logline? (which is what I'm saying). Or that the logline is accurate and the script is really about a hot tub that turns into a time machine? If it's the latter, then I'll stick to my original point: there has to be more to it than a hot tub that turns into a time machine.

considering the writer's other work is titled Mardi Gras, and is about " A group of college buddies who sow their wild oats in New Orleans", I doubt there will be anything more to this one.
