queries@ of course...
Eric...The Holders... Anyone know who the other lit reps are these days? I know the proper channel is, perhaps, arguably, through Georgia, the gatekeeper, but... Anyone know the latest? Thanks in advance... CP |

I know lit manager Eric Williams, whose brother Mark co-founded the original company (before the Holders came on board). I've been read by Eric and have had a very open and cordial relationship with him for several years (I'm now repped by an A-list agent, so haven't communicated since last year). Eric is a very good guy, very smart and very enthusiastic about new writers. As has been pointed out numerous times, however, ZG in general in more interested in scripts they can actually produce, as also witnessed again by their recent deals.

I know that was a point of contention in the past. Still an issue? Is this still the 10% vs 15% deal or something else? I've heard nothing but great things about Eric...Have had a few things read there in the past, but the feedback (when there was any) came from assistants and that was a couple of years back. If anyone has a direct line to Eric, I'd be much appreciative for a PM. Thanks as always. CP |

These guys seem to cast a wide net looking for new writers, kind of like Belkin. Not saying that's good or bad; just something to consider. In the past I've always been doubtful about dealing with folks like these, because, on the one hand, I think it's terrific that they're so open, but on the other hand, I wonder what that says about the level they're at. Catch-22, I guess.
