Any success in . . .
Has anyone ever had any success is contacting a actors agent/manager, and getting them to read your script . . that you know would be a perfect fit for their client?

Yes, I had success with getting a director's agent to read a script that is an adaptation. I had secured the rights to the property, so I was regarded as a writer/producer as opposed to just writer, but it did work. And it was at a top tier agency. It's a long process, though.
