LOST S6 E3: What Kate Does

I'm not sure if we should continue one giant LOST thread throughout the season, or start a new one for each episode, but...here it is.

*SPOILERS* (Obviously)

I found this episode to be completely pointless and lacking any sort of event or beat in the storyline. Sayid wakes up. Gets burned by hot poker. Jack asks questions. Gets no answers (except that amazingly enough, a baseball is in fact a baseball). Jack takes pill. Jack spits pill out. LOST

The flash sideways are such a dam momentum killer. These are currently very weak. I hope they somehow pick up steam. As of now, I don't care about that timeline. They are nothing more than time taken away from the stuff I do care about.

I understand it's the calm before the storm. Hoping it's a hell of a typhoon.
