I just realised I might be doing something wrong with my contained thriller!

I started writing a script that I intended to produce myself, but as I wrote it evolved and got bigger and bigger. I'm not talking mega-bucks big, but it took it beyond my own wallet. I couldn't help it though, because the bigger story is the better story, I didn't want to limit the impact because I couldn't afford to make it. So, either I sell it, or I put it to one side to make at a time when maybe I have some influence in the industry. Either way, I learned from the experience.
