LA Agents: The Bumper list of Boutiques - Page 6

Nothing on this topic since Sep-09, so why don't I ask a question that I haven't been able to work out myself despite some prolific Google and investigative skills.

Evidently there'd been some split of the long-standing Shapiro-Lichtman firm, into "Marty Shapiro Management" and "The Lichtman Group".

I queried the former (off of IMDBpro) and got a terse "not taking new clients" -- isn't it great at least when they take the time to respond?!

However, I've not been able to find a contact for the latter, especially Mark Lichtman, recommended elsewhere here on DDP, except an address for him (probably old) on everyonewhosanyone.com.

I hesitate to use that address because the members of the combined firm are now in their separate firms.

I'd assume they're pointing those old email to the correct place, if you know how email and web domains work.

Not only that, they may have let go of that domain (lichtman-shapiro.com) and it may now be held by somebody up-to-no-good, or a domain hoarder. When you do a "whois" you can't tell. So any email sent to it may end up nowhere or, worse, in the wrong hands.

Anyway, I've tried my best but haven't found Mark Lichtman's email or web domain/site.

Sigh.

Off to try LinkedIn, I suppose. He's there... except these bigshots never seem to log in and check their in-boxes so the mail just "expires" after 7 days.

Got a bad case of "writing withdrawal" going on, so I think I better just quit this marketing crap for the rest of the day and write a synopsis or edit a scene or something.

Always cheers me up.

I received the same response in 2004. Guess it's a euphemism for "we accept only industry referrals."

I know Shirley Wilson and Assoc. is on the wga signatory list, but does anyone know more about this agency? How large? What clients, etc.?

Is there no way to browse by literary agents in imdbpro anymore?
