Watching all three. Man, I miss Hackman in the movies.

Exactly. On the surface he may seem like a tough guy actor, but he's every bit a chameleon as some of the all time greats. FRENCH CONNECTION to THE CONVERSATION to YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN to NIGHT MOVES? Incredible versatility.

He was the best thing in GET SHORTY. Just hilarious. And then you see him in MISSISSIPPI BURNING and forget it's the same guy.
