Yes, you are correct, odrift. Circumstances will preclude me from taking a pass. Sigh. That was the price for getting the star. Still a terrific bargain for me. Most likely a proven pro will eventually operate on it anyway. I wrote the book, own the film rights and the family life rights. The interest is such that both dev. and prod dough is coming to the table. Somebody has to negotiate my end for me.

I agree with your logic. The chops gotta be there.
