In Final Draft - Is there a way to lock "scenes"? Not pages. Lock just the scene numbers.
Also, is there a way to automate adding the A or B when adding individual scenes to a locked script?
Right now I have locked pages on a white draft. I started by saving a "test" copy to practice. So I began the "pretend" blue revision by adding a scene between 12 and 13. It didn't give it a scene number. Then I clicked renumber scenes (w/ "keep existing scene numbers" checked) and it goes and numbers all scenes that I didn't want numbered throughout the script. So I ended up with a 12A (which is what I wanted), but I also ended up with a 64A and an 86A.
I know I'm doing this wrong. Anybody have a workflow I could borrow?
