Re: Films That Genuinely Deserved A Sequel

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory has a sequel - Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator. (In fact, I think there's a third - I'm pretty sure I read them all when I was a kid. These are novels, obviously.)

      The Indiana Jones trilogy

      Spiderman 1 & 2

      X-men 1 & 2

      Alien vs Predator

And some Star Wars prequels would've been cool.

Too bad none of these movies were ever made...
Looking to take the "Bono" off my screenname.

I still think Spidey 2 is one of the worst sequels I've ever watched. Talk about a nonsensical, emo crying mess.

then people wonder why Spidey 3 was so emo. Obviously Raimi saw the emo thing work in part 2 and decided to duplicate it in 3.

If it was someone like Von Trier doing it I would watch and probably love that. TAXI DRIVER: PORT OF CALL COPENHAGEN

What will Cathy Whitaker (Julianne Moore) be doing in the 60s? And her kids?

Shouldn't that be the penultimate Mohican? Yeah I know I watch too much F1.

What about "eight through eleven" (sequel to Se7en)

American History XI (I swear I've seen American history I thru IX on VHS)

Ghostbusters (Actually a sequel to the departed featuring everyone who died in that movie)

Stand by Him (Follows the lads through their teen years when Vern comes out)

The Thang (Shape changing Alien discovered in the badlands of Texas)

Eleven pissed off men (the first jury with a woman set in 1942)

Pulp faction (sets those who like linear story telling against those who don't)

Dream of feilds (a crazed farmer hears voices and plows up baseball diamonds, football feilds and in a wacky UK excursion a cricket pitch)

I've given Ferris 2 some thought more than once. Put him in an office with an evil boss instead of princpal Rooney...

He could play a Ted Kennedy style politition who takes a day off, goes for a drive and kills a mother and daughter.

Call it FERRIS BUELLERS DAY IN COURT.

I'm working on the sequel, NO MOHICANS. Having a hard time with it.

Master & Commander should have had like ten sequels.
