  • The Room

Written by, directed by and starring Tommy Wiseau, this film could be about to take England by storm as it's being billed as the Worst Film Ever! It's currently playing at the prestigious Prince Charles Cinema in London and people are making a big effort to dress up and attend. If it catches on it may go nationwide.

Tommy Wiseau has now come out and declared that it was always intended as a black comedy but no-one's buying it. It's firmly in the "so bad it's good category" and is being compared to the awful play about Napoleon Bonaparte that spawned the line "Not tonight, Josephine!" that had the audience falling in the aisles laughing.

So, has anyone seen it? What did you think?
A lovely being, scarcely formed or moulded,
A rose with all its sweetest leaves yet folded.

I've seen it a few times at midnight showings here in NYC, it's everything you think it's going to be and more. "Terrible" doesn't begin to describe this film, you can't help but think the whole thing is some elaborate joke.....
