  • What Do Tv Writer's Reps Get?

Say you've sold an original show.
Your reps would obviously get their cut on your writing fees if you write episodes.
But what if you're a creator (producer)?
What if you're made a show runner?
I understand that as the creator you get some money per produced episode even if you're not writing on it. Do you share that money with your reps?

Yes. They get 10% of what you make. They're still your rep.

The exception to the 10 percent is if your agent packaged the show. In that case you don't have to pay them anything after the series goes to air.

        Wait.

What if, I don't know, a college calls me and asks for a lecture on gardening. My LA reps get a cut, too?
