Exactly what I was going to say: Apocalypto without the pyramids. And I think I need the pyramids.

Wait a minute, aren't those the idiots who made Godzilla and Independence Day?

He has a point about "Godzilla" at least, though. And don't forget "The Day After Tomorrow".

A majority of the people on this board can write a better script than The Day After Tomorrow. Most probably already have.

"A prehistoric epic that follows a young mammoth hunter's journey through uncharted territory to secure the future of his tribe."

Sons of bitches stole my epic mammoth hunter storyline! Well, they would have, if I'd ever started writing it.

Gotta like a film that has a character billed as "Mammoth-Hunting Girl" -- I'm seeing fur bikini, I'm seeing tanned thighs.

And it has a guy called "The Pyramid God" so maybe there are pyramids too! Result!

                    Have you seen Godzilla?

My dog could write a better screenplay, and he died 20 years ago.

I'm not denying these guys make cheese-fest, blockbusters.

But sometimes, that's all I'm in the mood for.

It's funny to me how many studios are now greenlighting thriller and even horror-oriented projects having something to do with global warming/climate change.
