Default Show BUSINESS, Michael Eisner, Cobra...

What some of you Hollywood hot-dogs need to remember is that it's show bidness, .
When a studio, investor or distributing company put out a feature film and spend a lot of $crilla they want to squeeze out every shiney FDR they can, ya feel me?

Former Walt Disney honcho Michael Eisner said years ago that films should be no longer than 100min. After that the audience will start to wane and be less interested in the film.
Former box office super-star Sly Stallone(Rambo, Rocky, the upcoming The Expendibles) edited his action cop movie Cobra(1986) to around 90min to get more screenings in movie theaters, .

Studios & prodcos want PG-13 content for the same reason they say a screeplay should be around 110 pages. To make $$$!

I'd rather get bank credit, than screen credit.

Default Re: What's the verdict on THE LOSERS?

i think the MPAA should loosen up on some of the rating systems anyway. a lot of R rated action movies are hard to tell apart from the pg 13 action movies these days.
One must be fearless and tenacious when pursuing their dreams. If you donít, regret will be your reward.
