I've tried that, didn't like it too much.

Update Info: I loaded my .fdr files on my new Sony Vaio and they look just like a pdf. My desktop is from like 05 so that might be why the clarity is lacking. Lesson learned?: New stuff makes all the difference sometimes.

it's actually the adobe reader. I have a very old version on one of my old computers that have beautiful dark font. I put the very same script on my newer computer with the updated adobe reader and the pdf came out light, thin letters that make it look ugly. try finding an older version of it somewhere.

I've had the same problem myself... I go with a pdf on my home computer (Mac version of FD7) and I can barely read it... although revisions sometimes come up startling dark. Run the same file through my work computer (Win FD6) and it looks just fine.

                    Re: Blacken the letters more?

All of the input is excellent. However, is there any possibility that the Adobe Reader one is using could cause a problem? So, you produce a nice PDF and send it off, aiming for riches and glory, but the silly manager's Reader doesn't produce the proper font or darkness. Another thing to worry about?!

It really isn't something you should worry about.

I am just fascinated that the results are so varied and I can't find out why.

For example, I really love how dar/'black' the letters are in He's Just Not That Into You. That's how I want it to look.

                        Re: Blacken the letters more?

I use a separate PDF printer to print out my script document as opposed to the packaged one. I then open the newly created PDF document and print it out again using the same PDF printer. It seems to have the effect of making the text darker and fuller.

Adobe Acrobat. Try it on primoPDF, see if it has the same effect.
