  • Help with Sci-Fi term I can't think of

    What's the term when a space shuttle docks / locks onto a space station? Is it one of those two or a third one that escapes me, like linkup or junction or something?

    I remember the incredibly suspenseful scene in INTERSTELLAR when they almost miss. They repeat that term quite a bit. ("five seconds to XXX"). I was going to stream the movie again tonight but it's no longer for rent on Amazon. #**@@ (seems they're doing that more and more, it's harder to just rent a flick anymore)

      Docking is the term. It's a computer-controlled rendezvous, according to article above.
