Hey guys, I still own a copy of FD8 and was going to use that going forward. Just realized there's an FD9 now. Should I pick that up instead? Is it worth the change, or is 8 just fine?

    Happy Holidays.

    Re: Fd8

I'm still using FD8, The 9 release added a couple things, but not enough to require a switch.

        Re: Fd8

I went from Fd7 to 9, only because I got a sweet deal on it. Even jumping 2 versions, there wasn't a huge amount of changes.

Thanks, 8 seems to be working fine so far.

Haven't had a single producer ask me if I've upgraded to 9. As long as it's fdx format, they've been happy.

FD was offering upgrades to version 9 for only $59, but I don't know if that promotion is still going on.

Stick with FD8. If you're not satisfied, consider Fade In or Writer Duet instead.

Big vote for Fade In here. FD8 is buggy expensive and has compatibility issues with Windows 10. Fade In allows you to save in FD mode if you like, but it's more user friendly and cheaper.

I use Fade In on my Androids. It is solid.
