I've seen a couple of recent posts of people trying to ID movies, so I thought I'd throw my question in, too.
It's a comedy made in the 60s (or maybe early 70s). As I recall it, a guy gets into a taxi to rush somewhere across town in London, but when he arrives he realizes he doesn't have money to pay the fare - and the rest of the film is him going place to place in the taxi to get the money, the amount increasing as the meter turns over.
I think my only hope for success finding this is that, in the UK, it's some old comedy classic.
Anyone...?
