Default Presenting Scripts to Production Companies

Does anyone know of any really great production companies to send scripts, query letters, etc.?

All the "really great production companies" out there require an agent/lawyer/manager to send material thru.

Hope that helps.

Imagine the '49er showing up in a bar on the Klondike and asking where's the best place to mine for gold.

Chucky, have a look through the old threads for instant gratification. All your questions have been asked an answered.

Just don't shout "You stupid bitch! You filthy slut! I'll teach you to **** with me!" when you're put on hold and you may be allowed to submit directly, even to the "really great production companies". You do require a professional pitch/query and a project that sounds like it could suit the prodco's development needs--the first is in your control, the latter not so much, so you will get a lot of passes. Doesn't mean the doors are closed to you as an unrepresented writer/ugly doll.

I'm guessing then that the best way to get a script read is to get an agent/manager first and have them send the script through? I have a friend that recently wrote a script with her boyfriend and they faxed it to a production company. Now their movie's going to get made! ^.^ Is it a good idea to just fax a script?

Wouldn't happen to have that fax number by chance?
