Yeah I think he did send it. It's on Sendspace.

I can ask him to delete the sendspace file.

Chief, let Steven do it himself. It's important that ScriptShadow hears from the writers themselves or the reps that him posting their script isn't OK.

Also:

STOP TRYING TO EXTRACT WHICH SCRIPT IS STEVEN'S.

While I prefer to be non-anonymous, respect Steven's desire to remain a bit obscured. After all, you don't tell us your name either, do you Chief?

I publicly stated I don't like Star Wars on this forum. Not revealing my name is a matter of security.

But I'll stop asking.

To Steven, contact him through his E-Mail or Twitter (I think Twitter would be faster).

jcgary, I'll hit him up on Monday morning.

Chief, yeah -- twitter. So you can refresh his tweets every 5 seconds just to report back here? Nope.

Sensing a lot of hostility.

You can E-Mail him now and he should be able to delete them. Asking him on Monday means everyone already has it.

It's Friday now so there's a chance most haven't downloaded it yet.

Chief, you're sensing hostility because you've been antagonistic. Chill.

No hostility and I appreciate your interaction.

I just don't think you're in a position to provide a decent answer, or advice, to the question. No offence.

Also -- JcGary -- thanks for pointing out the information re: copyright being in effect and enforceable the moment a writer creates something. Many people don't understand that. YES your best protection is to register it so you have proof of sovereignty. Key word there is "register". Nobody GIVES a writer copyright. The writer automatically possesses it at the moment of creation. US Copyright Office simply "registers"/ "records" the fact.

And it can be difficult -- but it's not impossible to prove original ownership without that record. And Particularly in the case of screenplays where no one is disputing the original author -- then there is no difficulty whatsoever proving ownership. The script belongs to the writer and he/she has the right to decide who can and can't have it. End of story.

I find it odd that someone with 20 years experience as a journalist and several as a screenwriter would give advice counter to this basic fact.

I'll say it again. Contact him today. He usually sends it of on Saturday/Sunday so there's a big chance most people haven't got it yet.

He has been sending it out Friday or even earlier on a consistent basis as of late. Which you know.
