My personal high score was 45 pages over the course of an 8-hour writing day. And boy were those pages a steaming pile of crap.

Around 50 pages over the course of one very long day -- that was day two of a "write a screenplay in two days" marathon.

A screenplay that I actually sold, by the way. Didn't turn out very well, unfortunately, but most of what's wrong with it was stuff that wasn't mine.

99 pages in one day. Never again.

I've actually found that I can write over ten pages in one day when I'm in the third act of a script.
It's like, "All I have to do is this." It even feels good as oppose to the exhaustion I regularly feel when writing a lot.

17 pages in four hours, and not nearly as bad as I'd expected thanks to a good treatment.

About 20 pages in three to four hours....Not the most amazingly tight stuff, but a very solid groundwork to go back over later.

I just try to get that first draft done as quickly as possible. So much easier to work from an existing document.

Same here. 20 pages in one sitting. Climax is always fun to write. Like the final sprint for the finish line.

But that sh|t is always riddled with mistakes. Takes more time to rewrite than it would to go slow and pace yourself.

Patience. It's a marathon. Not a sprint.

In my youth I did 28 pages in a very long day once... and was brain dead for about a week after that. I have since learned to pace myself. Also - I'm pretty sure those 28 pages needed heavy rewriting.

I've written plenty of 10-15 paged shorts in one sitting.

But for a feature, I have written around 35 pages in one sitting on more than one occasion. That was long time ago. Now I seem to agonize over every paragraph. 5 pages in one day is a great day for me.
