Default Give us a bit of help, lads...

Howdy Ladies and Gents...

Any help on naming any companies might be interested in the following -

- A Dublin/NY set thriller

- An Irish set horror!

I know it's a long shot but I thought all you minds out there might be able to put your noggins together and come up ith somthing...

cheers, guys...

I would look up British or Irish prodcos and target them -- there are more than you think.

Here's one from inktip.com that looks like a good fit (it's from the premium content, but it's almost 2 months old so I don't think I'm cheating too badly).

1) Borderline Ltd.
---------------

We are looking for two different scripts:

The first one is a completed thriller with strong horror elements that MUST be shot in Ireland.

The second one is a completed 'Femme Fatale thriller'. It MUST be shot in Ireland, with a strong female lead character.

Budget will not exceed $2 million US.

Borderline Ltd. was formed in 1998 and currently has offices in Belfast and Dublin. The company goes into production on its first feature film in fall 2004. The company's diverse development slate includes hard-hitting thrillers, cinema for a younger audience and provocative drama. When considering a project, they ascertain its originality and
viability.

Please email a logline followed with a synopsis to:

You may want to check with Roger Corman's company (or that of his wife). The last I heard, he had a production facility in Ireland and wanted to make more use of it.
