Re: Using BOLD in spec scripts

White space: the writers' frontier. These are the struggles of the storytellers' enterprise. Their lifelong mission: to create new worlds (some of which are strange). To seek out new storylines and better plots. To boldly embolden where no writer has emboldened before!

    [cue MX: Loulie Jean Norman]

(In all of my scrawls, I never embolden words to tell the tale. 2¢)

I used bold slugs for awhile after seeing it in another script. Then I switched from bold to underlining, it helps it to stand out but not too much. None of it really matters as long as your basic formatting is correct, everything else is just cosmetic.

        Personally I hate Bolding.

I feel like it gives readers an excuse to skim pages.
