Re: WGF Veteran's Writers Workshop
The Writers Guild East should have something like that."A screenwriter is much like being a fire hydrant with a bunch of dogs lined up around it.- -Frank Miller
"A real writer doesn't just want to write; a real writer has to write." -Alan Moore

Yeah, it looks great. I applied and have my fingers crossed. Of course, I'd have to pay for the ticket down and hotel.

I got in, I'm excited! Now I just have to convince the wife to let me leave her with the baby all weekend...

Re: WGF Veteran's Writers Workshop
I just got back from the WGF Veterans Writers Workshop - it was amazing! I highly recommend it to any vets who want to write.
I'll put a post about it on my blog soon, at www.BayAreaScreenwriters.com.

Re: WGF Veteran's Writers Workshop
The workshop is once a year and is free for veteran's. I had to pay for a plane ticket (which was free because of my credit card rewards) and a rental car (that I didn't need, but I wanted to take advantage of being in LA and meet other writers/friends).
So total cost to me was about $100 or so. Not bad! Oh, and some guilt trips from my wife for leaving her alone with the baby over the weekend, that was probably the most expensive part...
