have you negotiated putting the Q&A on youtube yet?
I discussed it with Gabe and he was seriously considering it. But he's been pulling all kinds of favors for the DVD extras, behind-the-scenes, interviews etc. So he didn't want to ask for even more favors from friends. It's a shame but he's been working his tail off (we all have) to market the film. At AFM all the buyers loved the film but were scared of spending money to market it because of BURIED's box office failure. Now IFC is barely doing any marketing so spread the word DD'ers...
A guy who can rock tele's on both top and bottom ends - SUH-LAM a trap set - stroke a xylophone - dial-in vintage keys - sample off a '69 427 c.u. 'Vette - then fly it all into ProTools -- -- I'm -- NOT -- worthy!!!

Brian Tyler will be at the Q&A this Friday. Just saying...
Since I live in NoHo, I trotted 'round the corner and got a ticket, but after seeing the part with the 'water,' I got agida and chickened out about seeing the film...
But I went back, sat through the credits and about five mins. of the chest-tightening suspenseful open. As soon as 'the guy' said he couldn't breathe, I was outta there. Gonna have to catch it on video.
Still, ROCK ON!
And yes, I am claustrophobic and yes, I am currently drinking.
Hubby and I were there - it was great! The Q&A was one of the more informative I've seen - even though Andrew didn't speak : (. Loved that the composer took on the premise literally and decided he needed to be a man alone in creating the score - no other musicians, no other help.
Brake is a great example of using limitations to your advantage. What can you do in the trunk of a car? Turns out - a lot!
Congrats Andrew!

Ahhh.. brings back memories of dating in high school.
If a woman has to choose between catching a fly ball and saving an infant's life, she will choose to save the infant's life without even considering if there are men on base.

Hey Simon, yeah opening night was fun. The Q&A was a success and the audience seemed to really dig the movie. While he wasn't on the panel, Tim Mannion was in attendance with a big crowd of supporters. He appeared to be soaking it all up. Hopefully Brake arrives in NZ within a few months.
