  • Bring Me The Head (fun short script contest)

Time slips by and nothing's happening, so let's see how this one goes. (And in fact it happened, the entries thread is here and the results thread is here.)

BRING ME THE HEAD is the suggested theme, interpret that any way you like. If your entry includes or touches on the theme, bonus points may be awarded!

Deadline is ... re-extended to midnight, Sunday July 10th.
8 pages max, can be shorter if you like.
    1 entry per participant.
Send your entry as a PDF to dpaterson57 at gmail.com

Reply to this thread if you're in!

Sure, I'm in -- I'm always ready to make an idiot of myself.

Can I make an idiot of myself more than once, or this a one script per person contest?

So far it's just me and you, but it's early days yet!

Let's aim for one per person, your best idiocy!

        Good enough. Thanks.

I've got the germ of a suitably morbid story. Damn it - I just can't resist. If it festers into 8 pages or less I'll let you know ASAP, Dr dpaterso.

Newcomers might not know what's going on, so it may help to change the title of this thread to include the word 'Contest'. Maybe add 'Short Script' too.

One week till deadline and only two willing volunteers so far, three if you include me, luckily our careers* aren't hanging on this. Just not enough members dropping by and looking in? Or lack of interest? Hard to guess.

Sure, I've got the addresses of contestants who entered previous contests but I'm not gonna spam 'em, I do enough spamming when the contests are actually running.

I guess we shall see what happens, while we watch this space.

I'm considering doing this, and I have the germ of an idea, but so far that's all. It's possible the deadline will slip by before I get beyond having just a germ of an idea. Or it might not, and I might post again to say I'm in.

How's that for keeping options open?

                    Durrr yeah, like totally eh-verrr.

BTW, my entry has festered splendidly, so I should meet your deadline, unless I don't.

Oh, and I'm not a 'willing' volunteer - just wanna make that clear.

Wasn't sure I was going to enter this, but have been balls deep in research and outlining another feature for a while so am itching to get some actual pages down.

I'll see what I can thrash out in the next couple of days and will send it through.

                      Cheers!

I'm unable to meet today's/tonight's deadline.

To me it doesn't matter if the deadline gets extended. The more the merrier.

                            But that's just my opinion.

                              I got mine entered.

Is this "supposed" to be fun? Well mine is "dead" serious.
